Alcohol and drug tests are carried out by qualified advisors; alcohol tests by means of a breath analyser test and drug tests by means of a saliva test. The advantages of a saliva test are that it is highly accurate and that it provides immediate proof of any drug abuse on board. The tests are carried out for 6 different kinds of drugs, and if a person is found positive he or she is submitted to a conclusive test. The tests fully comply with the appropriate legal requirements and the OCIMF guidelines.

In the event of an incident or accident we can be at the scene at very short notice to perform alcohol and drug tests. The results of the drug tests are available within one hour of testing, the results of alcohol tests are immediately available.
