Transafes Alcohol and Drug Testing

Alcohol and drug tests are conducted by one of our qualified consultants.
Alcohol testing will be taken aboard by a breathalyzer and drug testing on a saliva test. The advantage of a saliva test is that it is very accurate and can be immediately determine whether drugs is used aboard of the vessel. It is tested against six different types of drugs. When a person tests positive a confirmatory test will follow.
The tests meet the legal requirements, for instance the OCIMF guidelines.
After the occurrence of incidents and/ or accidents Transafe is able to take an alcoholic and drug test quickly at the accident site.
Results of drug tests are rapidly available (within 1 hour after testing) and results of an alcohol test immediately. The whole process of drug and alcohol testing meets the highest standards and the information is highly confidential.
